Euréquip presents furniture for every room in a home

Euréquip is presenting  Modul’home, its latest line of adaptive furniture for dementia patients, at this year’s Care & Dementia Show in November. The  French company creates specialist furniture and fittings for every room of the house, including a Modul’home kitchen.

Euréquip manufactures furniture tailored to each resident’s needs. As dementia often leads to visual or cognitive impairment, its product ranges include contrasting colours that can be easily identified by residents.

The company also put emphasis on the sturdiness and stability of its furniture, as well as crafting units with curved edges to prevent accidents and help residents to feel secure and familiar with their environment.

“A Modul’home kitchen will be exhibited at the Care and Dementia Show. The kitchen is the central room in a house and should be functional and safe. Combining ergonomics and ingenuity, our Study & Design office has developed a range of products to facilitate use and access for wheelchair users as well as for those suffering with loss of mobility. Our furniture has both manual and motorised lifting systems, and our work surfaces are height-adjustable. The elderly person can therefore cook and prepare meals independently, and carry out everyday tasks easily,” the company explains.
