One of the country’s largest mobility retailers, Eden Mobility, has offered a £1,000 reward to anyone who has information on a van which was reportedly stolen from its head office in Scunthorpe.
The van (registration: FT13 AGV) was taken on Friday 27 October at around 7.45pm and it is hoped that the appeal will lead to the successful conviction of those involved in the alleged theft.
A statement from Eden said that the van had a tracker installed which the alleged thieves managed to remove at the scene before taking off with the vehicle.
Shortly after the reported incident Eden published a number of CCTV images on its website appearing to show men stealing the van.
Eden’s Scunthorpe superstore is its premier flagship store and has around 6,000 square feet of retail space, making it one of the largest mobility stores in the UK.
It has been run successfully by Anthony and Diane for the past five years and benefits from being situated on a busy road with ample disabled parking.
16 of Eden Mobility’s UK showrooms are based in Yorkshire. Eden Mobility has been trading for almost 20 years under the management of founders David Hughes and Karl Howe. They initially focused the business around scooters, powerchairs and stairlifts, building up a reputation for fast and efficient after-care service.
