Mobility aid retailer Clearwell has extended its sponsorship of the Brighton and Hove Walking Football Club for another season.
The Burgess Hill-based dealer began sponsoring the Dolphins in 2015 and funded a football strip for the players and other equipment such as footballs, nets and flags.
The Dolphins hope to build on their early success with Clearwell’s support and they plan to introduce a regular third team and are eyeing national tournaments.
Clearwell’s sponsorship money may also be used to fund additional training accessories and used to improve the team’s website to attract more players.
In a report by The Argus, Duncan Gillett, managing director of Clearwell Mobility, told the newspaper: “It’s great to see The Dolphins going from strength to strength. The fact that within the space of just over a year the club has enough regular members to put out three competitive teams in a tournament just shows the popularity of the sport and how it is growing.
“We are proud to continue supporting the team and wish them all the success possible for the year ahead and look forward to seeing a cabinet full of silverware.”
