Assistive bath solutions specialist Abacus Healthcare pulled its largest ever crowd at the Kidz-to-Adultz show in Manchester.
Long-standing supporter of the regional Kidz exhibitions, Abacus, which looks to provide an opportunity to see the latest assistive equipment and services for young people living with disability, showcased an array of specialist manufacturers, including its supply power assisted accessible baths.
The team also demonstrated the popular Gemini bath with variable height and integrated changing, drying and bathing platform.
Through its unique ‘double lift’ action it provides safe working heights for carers and the platform minimises manual handling transfers.
In addition to Gemini demonstrations, the Abacus product specialists offered free advice guides to help with funding and ownership of an accessible bath.
A range of case studies were also available along with the opportunity to win the company Mascot ‘Trevor the Turtle.’
Abacus has also announced that Kidz-to-Adultz-up-North was the most successful ever in terms of stand footfall and assessment enquiries. The team met with a variety of visitors including families, children, therapists and case managers.
